Come join the Mad River Valley Walk n' Roll festival! Celebrate biking and walking with a week full of activities for the whole family. There will be a full slate of events to encourage healthy, fun alternatives to riding in your car.

Bike to the farmer's market, bike to school, ride one of the free Mad Bikes available at racks around town, join a bird walk. These and many more events are scheduled to help get you on your feet or on two wheels.

Whatever your inclination, you'll be in good company as we walk, ride, and roll through the Valley!

Bike Raffle

Win a new bike! Raffle tickets are available at all Valley Walk and Roll Festival events. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5 and only 200 tickets will be sold. The winner will be drawn at the Farmers’ Market at lunchtime on Saturday, May 21* – stop by the Valley Walk and Roll Festival tent!


Win a Raleigh Route 4.0! A 24-speed "hybrid" bike with suspension fork and lightweight aluminum frame, perfect for smooth or rough pavement, dirt roads and trails. This bike was generously donated by Green Mountain Bikes in Rochester. All proceeds benefit the Mad River Valley Health Center's Health Education Committee.

*Winner need not be present to win. A sample bike is shown, winner will receive identical model in his or her proper size.
